“Jesus called the children to him and said: ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’”

Luke 18:16

We believe that children and their families are an integral part of our life together as the family of God here at Coro. We recognise the importance of children worshipping together with their families, but also understand the need for kids to have opportunities to learn and engage with God’s Word in ways that are designed specifically for the different stages of their development.

On Sunday mornings our children spend the first half hour or so together with their families in worship prior to moving out to different programs that are designed to stimulate, encourage and enable each child to grow in their own faith journey and in their relationships with their peers.

We have four different programs that we run most weeks: LPC (Little People’s Crèche) is for our very young ones from birth through to 3-3½ at which point they transition through to a slightly more structured program at Kindy Kids. Once children turn school-age they graduate to KBG (Kids Belonging to God) where they experience large group and small group times with teaching, memory verses, creative and fun activities and times of prayer. From Year 7 through Year 10 we offer Bounce, where kids learn through discussion, video clips, and games – always with plenty of food on offer! Note: The safety of the children in our care is paramount. All our program helpers are police-checked with key leaders having undergone Child-Safe Environments and First Aid training.
