Once kids start primary school their way of thinking changes. They become aware of a whole new world that is opening up to them and start to work out where they fit.

One of our aims in KBG (Kids Belonging to God), our Sunday morning program for primary-aged kids, is to help each child to see that they are a unique and precious individual in God’s eyes but that they are also part of a wider church family that has both responsibilities and privileges.

We creatively teach about the Father, Son and Spirit and aim to bring children into an awareness of the great salvation story of which we are all a part. We use a variety of teaching styles to explore biblical themes and passages as well as core values of the Christian life.

The format of a typical Sunday morning involves large group teaching (often using multimedia), small groups for discussions and prayer, fun and creative construction activities, games and memory verses.

At the beginning of this year we spent some time with all the children to develop ‘Our Essential Agreement‘, which we encourage you to download and discuss with your children at home.
