“People were also bringing babies to Jesus to have him touch them.”

Luke 18:15

Each individual is created uniquely in the image of God and even from a very young age infants and young children can learn about Jesus through the caring, loving actions of those who look after them. They learn that being part of a church community is good and healthy and they learn to build relationships with other kids.

At CoroUniting our Little People’s Crèche (LPC) is for children from infants through to 3-3½. LPC runs throughout the year, and is a nurturing place to play for our LPC children supervised by our caring volunteers, all who have current police checks.

Our LPC children start church with the rest of the church community (in congregation), before heading out to LPC with a parent or caregiver who will sign them in and out.

The LPC session is a time of free play for the children (eg. trikes, climbing castles, playdough, books, toy kitchen etc.), with cut fruit being served for morning tea before the children are picked up at the end of the service. During the session we say a blessing for our food, and children hear about Jesus and his love for them through music, stories and songs.
