Camping out under the stars with your friends, carnival rides, fun activities, camp food and hot milo at night… mmm…

KCO is back for 2018… as usual there will be the opportunity to explore faith through fun activities, craft, games, sports, faith-based conversations and worship with live music and drama.

KCO 2018 will be held on the weekend of 17-18 March at Adare Camp and Caravan Park, Victor Harbor with a second venue (to accommodate everyone) at the Victor Harbor Beachfront Holiday Park. Transport between the two venues will be organised by KCO. This year’s theme is Welcome – A Place to Belong.

Registrations close on Monday 26 February. Find out more about KCO and how to register here.

The registration process this year is different to previous years. Instead of completing a paper form and paying the church, each parent/guardian will need to register their own children online here and pay the $55 registration fee to Synod directly. An additional $15 will be payable to Coro for food/supplies. This can be paid in cash to the church office or by EFT (in which case, please use the reference ‘KCO-surname‘ and payment details… BSB: 704 095   A/C#: 000214431   A/C Name: Coromandel Valley Uniting Church).

If you’re aged from age 7 to in Year 7 and would like to come along, we’d love to have you – bring your friends – the more the merrier! We will organise tents, food and shelter which helps to create a real sense of community amongst the leaders and the kids.

KCO stands for KUCA (Kids of the Uniting Church in Australia) Camp Out and is designed to assist kids as they discover and explore their faith and as they are encouraged to share and build relationships with their peers. Each year there is a wide variety of performances, activities, games, worship and music based around a central theme designed to teach about Jesus’ life and teachings in an understandable, age-appropriate and fun way.
